What if you had only one day to live? What would you do? Who would you kiss? And how far would you go to save your own life?
Samantha Kingston has it all—looks, popularity, the perfect boyfriend. Friday, February 12th should be just another day in her charmed life. Instead, it’s her last. The catch: Samantha still wakes up the next morning. In fact, she re-lives the last day of her life seven times, until she realizes that by making even the slightest changes, she may hold more power than she had ever imagined.
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver was a book I really really enjoyed. Before I Fall took you on a roller coaster of emotions. I was captivated by the idea of the plot, but it fell flat for me. What Lauren Oliver wrote was great, but I think certain aspects of the plot could’ve been played up a bit more and blown the roof off!
Now let’s talk characters. At first, I was not a fan of Sam at all, but as the book went on she grew on me. The other characters were all amazingly written. Lauren Oliver’s writing was absolutely fantastic, even more so for a debut author!
Before I Fall was one of those books that will stick with you. I didn’t absolutely love it, but I enjoyed it quite a lot.

It was a little hard to feel bad for Sam or even to relate to her cause she was a follower and bascially a mean girl but the more she relived days I started to like her because she was changing and it did make me tear up in the end.
