Meghan Chase used to be an ordinary girl…until she discovered that she is really a faery princess. After escaping from the clutches of the deadly Iron fey, Meghan must follow through on her promise to return to the equally dangerous Winter Court with her forbidden love, Prince Ash. But first, Meghan has one request: that they visit Puck–Meghan’s best friend and servant of her father, King Oberon–who was gravely injured defending Meghan from the Iron Fey.

Yet Meghan and Ash’s detour does not go unnoticed. They have caught the attention of an ancient, powerful hunter–a foe that even Ash may not be able to defeat….

Winter’s Passage was a great addition to Kagawa’s Iron Fey series. It definately will hold over fans until book 2, The Iron Daughter’s release. I also personally felt it had a satisfactory amount of Ash to hold me over ;) Then again, one can never have too much Ash. Winter’s Passage was action packed, and really intrigued me. It starts right where The Iron King left off, and I just loved the story. It also is full of a few surprises. Honestly, what more do you need? Winter’s Passage had Ash, some of the awesome characters from The Iron King, action, more Ash… I will now resume my anxious awaiting of book 2, The Iron Daughter! I can’t wait to hear more of the story, I am in love with this series (and Ash!)
