He’s kept a death grip on the town ever since. Now an underground resistance is brewing, and in order to contain it, Bishop must go to even greater lengths. He vows to obliterate the town and all its inhabitants-the living and the undead. Claire Danvers and her friends are the only ones who stand in his way. But even if they defeat Bishop, will the vampires ever be content to go back to the old rules, after having such a taste of power?

This is definately my favorite book of the series so far! Carpe Corpus definately is a big one that makes you guess at what is happen, and be on the edge of your chair. All the characters change and grow a lot in Carpe Corpus. One thing I was extremely happy about was that Carpe Corpus’s ending isn’t a cliffhanger like the prior books. That isn’t to say I’m not totally anxious to read book 7, Fade Out. I am just in love with this series. I’m really not sure what it is about them, they’re just addicting.
