What if love refused to die?
Haven Moore can’t control her visions of a past with a boy called Ethan, and a life in New York that ended in fiery tragedy. In our present, she designs beautiful dresses for her classmates with her best friend Beau. Dressmaking keeps her sane, since she lives with her widowed and heartbroken mother in her tyrannical grandmother’s house in Snope City, a tiny town in Tennessee. Then an impossible group of coincidences conspire to force her to flee to New York, to discover who she is, and who she was.
In New York, Haven meets Iain Morrow and is swept into an epic love affair that feels both deeply fated and terribly dangerous. Iain is suspected of murdering a rock star and Haven wonders, could he have murdered her in a past life? She visits the Ouroboros Society and discovers a murky world of reincarnation that stretches across millennia. Haven must discover the secrets hidden in her past lives, and loves¸ before all is lost and the cycle begins again.
The Eternal Ones is a fresh read that I found to be enjoyable in every way. Miller hooks you in on page 1, and doesn’t let you go until you finish. I had a hard time putting it down once I had started.
The plot was awesome. Kirsten Miller takes you on a real roller coaster, she lets you think one thing, then swerves in another direction, then you find out you were basically all wrong. It is a really neat look at reincarnation, and very unique as well. Another great thing was the whole romance part – I’m a huge romantic so I was a complete sucker for the whole true love can’t be beat by death and they come back again. I loved the voice. The story had an overal great tone to it.
The characters are great. I loved them all, especially Beau. Beau was such a fun loving character and the scenes with him were my favorite. He is the perfect guy and friend. Haven was a character you had no issue liking, though at times she could’ve been a bit more aware.
The only part I wasn’t crazy about was the ending. The last 15 pages or so seemed rather rushed, and then it just ended.
This was a book I really enjoyed. From its unique plot to the great writing, this is a book you will be sorry to miss. I am desparately awaiting the sequel, and I’m very eager to find out what happens next.

This book looks good =) Erica is the new Haven
I loved this book too. Can't wait for the sequel! Great review!
Glad you liked it. I enjoyed it as well.
This book definitely sounds intriguing. Perhaps the ending felt rushed because there will be a sequel? I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I can't wait to read my copy!
