A Touch Morbid Tour: Interview with Madeline
I am super excited to be a part of the blog tour for A Touch Morbid by Leah Clifford, which debuts on February 28th. A Touch Morbid is the second book in A Touch Trilogy, book 1 being A Touch Mortal. I have a character interview with Madeline today! Welcome Madeline!
What song can be found on repeat on your current playlist?
Terrible Things by April Smith
What is your favorite place in Queens?
Anywhere I can get some decent jewelry shopping in. And not Kristen style either. I mean actual shopping in an actual store with diamonds not pulled off rotting finger bones. I happen to have standards.
What kind of movie is your favorite?
I’m more of a double feature kind of girl. Give me The Notebook followed by something Quentin Tarantino-y. Maybe Inglourious Basterds. An afternoon of love and violence and I’m your girl!
What were your first days as a Sider like?
I didn’t notice anything different the first day. No one was home when I got up, so there was no freak out. I’m usually pretty social, so when my friends weren’t calling, I tried to track them down, showed up at the places we usually hung out. None of them would even talk to me. I thought it was a freeze out—you know, like they’d heard some rumor that I flirted with one of their boyfriends or something and they were punishing me. I figured out pretty quick something wasn’t right. When I tried to go home that night, my family had no idea who I was. So I guess you could say after that my first days as a Sider were pretty terrible.
Since You, Kristen and Erin used to be close, who has the bigger secret to hide?
Kristen would like to think it’s her, but everyone already knows she’s mad. Erin’s an open book as soon as she trusts you. I guess that leaves me? *laughs* Not that you’ll get anything out of me!
What is your fondest memory of your living life that you can remember?
I used to dance. I took ballet for years, from the time I was small. I loved those moments when I spun so fast the studio swirled around me in a blur, but I knew the secret to keep the room from spinning, to keep control. Just keep your eyes focused on one thing.
What are you most afraid of?
Spiders squick me out pretty bad.
