YA March Madness Tournament
I am super excited about the awesomeness that is being announced today! Shanyn, Pam, Ginger, and I have teamed up to host the YA MARCH MADNESS Tournament. The four regions of March Madness are going to be four genres of books: fantasy, paranormal, sci-fi/dystopian, and contemporary.
All the dates of the tournament are found in the button above, but there’s one other you should know about. In the google doc below, you get the option to nominate TWO fantasy books that were released in 2011 to be in the tournament. Then, on March 5, I will post a poll with the top 30 nominations, where the top 16 of that will be announced on Selection Sunday.
So head over to Pam’s blog to vote on sci-fi/dystopian books, Shanyn’s blog to vote on contemporary, and Ginger’s blog to vote on paranormal. You will get TWO nominations in each category for this round!
Now, fantasy books include high fantasy (such as Eona by Alison Goodman), mythology books (such as Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep and Abandon by Meg Cabot), faerie books (such as The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa), books with dragons (such as Vanish by Sophie Jordan), and mermaids (such as Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs). So nominate away… (When nominating please make sure to do Title and Author) *Note* If a book is Paranormal, meaning zombies, demons, vampires, werewolves, that sort of thing, nominate it at Ginger’s blog not here because your nomination won’t count :)

[...] Here are the other blogs and their teams feel free to nominate in every genre! GReads is the Paranormal Team. Chick Loves Lit is the Contemporary Team. The Book Cellar X is the Fantasy Team. [...]
I made a mistake on my first vote…please delete that entry. Sorry about that! I just realized a better choice after I submitted it. :)

The two books I nominated are ib the River of Time series by Lisa T Bergren. This is the best series I have read & I read a lot of historical fiction. It is meant for the teen reader but is excellent for all ages (except preteens & younger).
Yes!
Waterfall & Cascade! By Lisa T. Bergren! BEST books ever!
I did it :]
