Bloggiesta!
So I am completely late signing up for bloggiesta, and I won’t be around a ton this weekend, but I still want to sign up because I had a blast the other time I did it!
So my goals are to:
*Finish fixing my posts for SEO (or some of them) – I’ve done probably around 400/1229
*I also want to try to finish figuring out what posts got lost in my transfer over to WordPress. I had 1220 posts over on blogger and I have written about 100 at least since I’ve gotten to WordPress so I figure there are about 100 posts lost somewhere, ha. I’ve already gotten the 50 reviews that were lost in my transfer, so now it’s just the other posts.
*Schedule posts – I have SO many posts that need to be scheduled and I haven’t done them yet.
*And who knows what else :)
Sign up for bloggiesta! And happy bloggiesta-ing

I find reading others’ to do lists helps me figure out a few things I forgot I wanted to do as well. Great way to share in the experience as well.

Hi there. We also tried moving a few of our content from wordpress.com to our wordpress.org site (which has its own host) but we figured that it’s just way too much of a hassle to do it, so we gave up entirely and let iour reviews remain in the .com site. Our landing site though remained in wordpress.org. Good luck on the transfer and with your other goals too!

I need to learn more about SEO…now that you mention it! lol
I can’t even imagine the process of transferring content. I’m afraid I took the lazy way and only transferred a few favorites when I moved.
I have a lot of blogs, though, so I still had stuff on the ones I started on WP.
I know…way too much information!
Thanks for sharing….

I really need to learn more about SEO, just got to scratching the surface so far. I pick up quite a bit finding other blogs that are working on the same/similar goals.

I’ve been thinking about moving my blog to WordPress – it’s on Blogger now, Did you find it difficult or have many problems, aside from losing posts?
I don’t know much aboutt SEO and hope to learn this weekend.
This is my first time participating in Bloggiesta and I think it’s fantastic. I have alread made several changes, updates to my blog. Some weren’t on my To Do list but I’m excited I did them!

Your goals sound like a lot of work! I see a lot of others have SEO stuff on their list too. I need to add that to my to-do list. I have a lot to learn about SEO, so I didn’t want to add it to my Bloggiesta list.
How do you like WordPress compared to Blogger? Not sure whether to switch over. WordPress seems a bit more complicated than Blogger, to me.
Good luck finishing your goals! :)

For me, it was definitely a bit of a challenge switching, but it was worth it. I didn’t have many problems besides losing all those posts. I know some other bloggers switching have had issues with subscriber numbers though.
