Avon Addicts Blog Hop + Giveaway
So I am a part of the Avon Addicts and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I love young adult, which is a large part of what I read, but I also just love me a good romance and Avon always delivers a fabulous read that I will be sure to love.
Here’s the deal – the Avon Addict Alums and the new Addicts have joined forces and for the month of December, right up until Christmas we are going to share our love of Avon Romance with you, our readers! The Hop began December 1 and goes all month long! There will be reviews, giveaways, and all sorts of awesomeness!
So I couldn’t exactly decide what I wanted to talk about for my stop on the hop, and then it hit me – Sarah MacLean who just so happens to be awesome awesome awesome. So I’m doing sort of a round up of all my reviews of Sarah’s books :)
Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean: After finishing Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean I had to ask myself, how have I not experienced the awesome of Sarah Maclean before? I had heard of the awesome that was her books, yet for some reason I hadn’t picked up any of her books. I absolutely loved Nines Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake and am super exciting to get the rest of her books as soon as I can!
The story line of Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake is simply addicting – there is no other way to put it. I fell in love with the story and was sad when it ended. I stayed up quite late reading – I just couldn’t put it down. The romance in this one was HOT.
The characters were absolutely charming. I loved Ralston, Callie, Juliana, just everyone. They were all such unique characters. Callie had such spunk and I loved all her adventures.
This is one of those must read books! It was just so good. I loved everything about this one and this will definitely not be my last Sarah MacLean read!

Ten Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord by Sarah MacLean: After reading Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake, I was very excited to start the next installment in the series. What I didn’t know is that the series followed the same characters with each book, and finding Nicholas St John as the star in this one, made me quite excited. Ten Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord by Sarah MacLean is another spectacular read by this talented lady.
Ten Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord’s main character, Isabel, was such a strong character. I really give kudos to Sarah MacLean for having such a strong heroine. I just love Nicholas as a character – he was one of my favorite characters, if not my favorite character in Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake.
I loved the quirkiness of the Ten Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord’s story. It was so fun to get caught up in, and it was entirely unique. And plus, the romance in this one is quite steamy.Ten Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord had a bit of a sameness to the feel of Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake.
I had a ton of work to be doing, and I made the mistake of starting this book. Once I started Ten Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord there was no putting it down, and I stayed up late into the night to finish. This one is another fabulous Sarah MacLean read, and I cannot wait to finish the series with Eleven Scandals to Win a Duke’s Heart.

Eleven Scandals to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean:
I wasn’t quite as entranced by Eleven Scandals to Win a Duke’s Heart by Sarah MacLean as I was the other two books in the series, but I still found it to be an absolutely addicting read that I didn’t want to put down for a moment.
Juliana is not my favorite character of this series, so I think that’s why I was not as crazy about Eleven Scandals to Win a Duke’s Heart. That aside, I loved seeing all the other characters again. It was fun to see both Ralston and Nicholas and their families in this one. I loved that there was more of Georgiana in Eleven Scandals to Win a Duke’s Heart, as she is a lovely character and really grew a lot in this one.
Sarah MacLean has the best stories in her books; they are just so easy to instantly get caught up in. When you pair that with the awesome characters, you have just a wonderful story I am so sad to see the Love By Numbers trilogy come to a close, as I have just loved all three books. Sarah MacLean is one talented writer, and I am really anxious to see what is next for her.

A Rogue by Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean:
Damn, can Sarah MacLean write. It’s like a guarantee that anytime she chooses to share one of her amazing stories with us, it will be great. A Rogue By Any Other Name was another addictingly awesome read that kept me up late into the night, unable to put it down.
I love how connected all of Sarah MacLean’s books are. It makes them so much fun to read. We met Penelope in Eleven Scandals to Win a Duke’s Heart, and now she gets her own story. And what a lovely story hers was. I really loved Penelope as one of the two main characters. The story switches between Penelope and Bourne for who is telling the story.
Bourne was such a interesting character. I really wanted to not like him – he was such an ass – yet he was so attractive at the same time. I really loved Penelope’s sister, Pippa, she was such a riot. It great getting to know Penelope more beyond the perfect lady she was made out to be in Eleven Scandals to Win a Duke’s Heart.
The ending of A Rogue By Any Other Name was pretty much my favorite thing ever. The lead up was absolutely adorable, and the actual ending was just awesome.
A Rogue By Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean is an absolute must read. I could not put it down. I stayed up til 4 AM reading this one, knowing I had to get up early the next morning. Is it December yet? I need One Good Earl Deserves a Lover!

I would have to say Sarah MacLean which makes this giveaway perfect for me…my mother-in-law whom I share most of my romance genre books with loved all the Avon authors. I would love to win this prize pack for her as she recently had knee replacement surgery and I know it would be a great surprise for her to have a whole new stack of wonderful reads during this time. Thanks for the giveaway and the chance to win!
