College Blogger Series: Introduction
This is something I’ve been thinking about for awhile. Running a blog while in college can be a bit tricky – there is always SO MUCH TO DO and only 24 hours in a day. There is class, your work for class, more work for class, your part time job, all the clubs you have joined, then hanging out with friends, and so much more. By the end of the day, sometimes it seems that there is no time for reading or blogging. And I’ve found a few things that have worked for me over the past year and a half, so I thought I would write a few posts with little tips on staying on top of your blog or how to make the most of what free time you have for all you in college.
I haven’t figured out if I want to take a week and do posts every day or spread them out say 2 times a month. Or maybe not even do them because no one is interested. So let me know. Leave a comment :)
Then I also want to do interviews with other college bloggers could be fun and great way to build the community of book bloggers and a way to get to know new bloggers or even just get to know some of your favorite bloggers even better! So that being said, if you are a college blogger and would be interested in this, drop me an email at thebookcellarx@gmail.com (And maybe put college blogger series in the subject because I am HORRENDOUS at answering emails). I am super excited for this!

This is an awesome idea! By blog pretty much fizzled out my first semester of college this past fall and I’m trying pretty hard to get it back on its feet. I would love to get some advice from other bloggers with more college, and blogging, experience with me.
I’ll be sure to send you an email :)

I agree it was SO hard being a college blogger. I started my blog my sophomore year and really it has been INCREASINGLY more difficult to keep it up every year. I thought once I had a job etc my life would slow down. It seems, however, that being “an adult” is WAY harder than being a college student – who knew!? This sounds like a cool bit though – I look forward to reading on!

Such a great idea! I started my blog the summer before my senior year of college, which probably helped because my senior year wasn’t that hectic. I’d learned how to manage my time and all that jazz. Looking forward to this series! :)

I LOVE this idea, Erica! I think it would be such a great resource for a number of us that are attempting to balance both – and even for those who have successfully managed to do it (and are now through it) with advice or those who aren’t sure how college might impact their blog.
Really looking forward to seeing more of this!
